Any advice for using hd7970 with FAH?

I use my main system for gaming and TV (have pci sat card). When not in use I allow FAH to use 8 cores on my fx8350, 6 cores when using the PC for TV and internet/work etc, and 2 cores when gaming.

This works really well for me but I keep getting problems when trying to utilise my hd7970's (I have 2 in crossfire). I keep getting display driver failed errors, mostly when the cards are displaying TV feed or streaming video at the same time.

Any suggestions and/or is it worth the effort for what the cards could process?

HI

I have a 6970 running happily although it only produces 8,000 PPD which isn't much compared to the Nvidia counterparts, I had no trouble using it with standard client, it is running the latest ATI drivers.

It may be worth trying the F@H GPU V2, I had problems with an old Nvidia card but this sorted that out and it can run at the same time as the standard tracker, available http://fahtracker.com/
