Ive started looking into doing water cooling and have read a lot about it but its a lot to take in with all the advice out their.
Ultimately I want to cool the cpu and gfx card and was going to go with a single loop system, after some reading about temps and fan speeds I have decided against this and opted for a possible dual loop system.
the main problem Im facing is limited space with trying to fit it into an antec 1200 case but am hoping that I can get a 240 radiator in the front and one in the top under the bigboy fan.
the parts Im getting to start this are....

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-001-MH

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-064-OE

as most might spot yes this is only half of the dual loop as the money outlay for the whole lot is a bit much in one go but Im hoping the rest should be easy enough to add on after.
Please if anyone could offer any suggestions on basic mistakes I may have made with choosing these parts and wether they will all work together ok.

radiator placement would be basicly the same as what this guy has done on his http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18382398

thanks

dual loops offers little over single loop, and when you consider the cost its really not worth it imo, more for aesthetics than anything, and then obv only if money no object, as it clearly is, I advise you revisit and look at single loop. You can still do this with 2 rads, having them in the one loop, but youll only need the one pump and can cut back on that very expensive rad

the main reason why I was trying to do a dual loop was because of cooling a GTX 580 and a Phenom x6,both which will be chucking out loads of heat.
Its not the case that money is not object,I was just more worried about both items in a single loop badly affecting each other.
thanks for your reply though

Nice to see I have given someone inspiration :-D
I have used a 200 in the top of mine but it required a fair bit of modifying.. Took out a large section on the top of the case.
A 240 top and front would be good but you might also want to look at a 360 in the front instead. I can't use the bottom 3 bays for the hdd's coz of the rad being a little too long. Also there is nothing wrong with single loop at all! I have an i7 2600k that I'm running at 4.8 everyday and 2x gtx 570 will bench temps asap :-)

yeah zx|muppet,it was just by chance realy.
I posted my thread and just after looked about to see what others were up to and and sure enough there yours was,and my first response was blimey, almost the same thing I had in mind, lol.
I would love to use a 360 rad in the front but need at least one bay for my 3 hard drives.
I will be very interested to here those temps as I was always worried about the heat of one component affecting the other in the loop.
its damn shame that an antec 1200 gets so tight when it comes to water cooling, beyond that its a nice all round case.
Nice to see i aint the only one trying to get the best out of this case :D

i hate to break the news.. you wont fit a hdd bay in even with a 240! (i have one in the front) and i only have a cdrw and my duel bay res up the top! kinda annoying!

I have stuck up temps of just after 1 hours folding on both gpu's and the cpu at 4.4 (need to play about with settings again for a better oc ) single loop is deffo fine! Also looking at space in the case or lack of I don't know how you would run 2 pumps in that case!

just to wake this thread back up and not start a new one again.
I have started my new loop with the basics but have read in a few places that having the fans pulling through the radiator instead of pushing works better for temps.
is this realy the case or is this just rubbish and makes no difference?
thanks to anyone who answeres.
