Hi people.
A friend of mine has asked me to look at his pc after he said it had a few freezing issues and now wont boot or post at all (he said he heard the motherboard siren at least once last week too and thinks it may be due to overheating)
It is an AsRock ITX board with a i5 2500k cpu and an EVGA 500w psu.
I have tried all the obvious like full cmos clear, different power supply, different motherboard battery and pulling out everything but the ATX cables but I'm not getting anything other than a brief spin up of the fans then nothing??
This one has me stumped....
Any advice appreciated

Thanks for the reply.
Is there any way of testing the motherboard for faults other than swapping it out for another?

Connecting a case speaker for beep codes maybe.
If its not doing these and you have tried running it on a bench out of the case then you'd have to assume that its the mobo itself.
