I'm planning to build a gaming rig for my mate but he has a budget of 700 quid
I did choose the following components for his rig
DS4,Geil 2GB,E6300,580W PSU

now my main concern is the gfx card. i was looking at the x1950 pro 512mb,x1950xtx 256mb,7900gto 512mb and 1900xt 512mb (altough i cant see any in stock on ocuk )

he will be playing at a res of 1440x900. all i want to know is how much is the difference he will see using the 1950pro 512mb or the 1950xtx 256mb. what is better price/performance wise? shall we splash a little bit extra and go for the 1900xt 512mb?

X1950 pro is a slightly cut down version of the X1950XT, all thats been done i think is slower memory, core clock and 12 shader processors disabled, there fast cards still, but so is the 7900GTO, brilliant card, look around internet for some reviews

the 512mb will be useful at that res.

plus it allows the high quality textures to be used in GRAW and many other games, im with easy, 7900GTO for the win
