Hey,
I have a rather basic AIX question. I've never used AIX but I've been tasked to find out how many CPU's and memory a server has. I understand I can run the lscfg command to show hardware.
How does lscfg work with lpars? Say an lpar had 2 x cpu and 4gb of ram on a server with 4 x cpu and 10gb ram will it show the 2 or 4 cpus? Will lscfg show the processor cards?
I don't have access to the server yet so can't just try this. I'd be nice to know what I can get before I go in.
.
Cheers,
Jon
