It's not by paramount, but Universal Playback. I emailed them last year but I got no reply.

I knew there would probably be a delay for the dvd, because series 5 has like 20+ episodes to it!

I can't wait - I finish uni on it's release date! Yeah!

Universal.....Paramount? whats the difference :p

I e-mailed them off the Playback site, but couldn't remember who was the parent company.

"Lt Gruber, have you made a copy of the fallen Madonna with the big boobies?"

The boobies aren't even big!! Its all a big con:p

Used to watch it all the time, that policeman Crabtree was ******* hilarious, used to have me crying he did, Good Moaning. :D

I bought the first 4 series on DVD a few months ago, i think i'm only half way through series 2 as i haven't had time to watch them!

Excellent ! That is indood gid news.

I shall be purchasing this fine comedy gold as for me it is the funniest sitcom I have ever seen. I still laugh watching it on DVD, especially Officer Crabtree. He first appeared in Series 2 in the episode The Policeman Cometh.

I think it takes damned good writing to make what is in effect cheese very funny and thats what I think has been done. It is a masterstroke of innuendo and typically British humour. To incorporate the very controversial topic of Nazism and ruthless organisations such as the Gestapo and still make it funny takes a lot of talent.

Great show, my favourite, and here's to series 5. :)

Choors. ;)

I don't know what series it is probably the last but Allo Allo is on Cable ATM but its got a different actor playing Herr Flick.

I actually worked for the Beeb on the scenery many moons ago & did all the sets in general use inc Cafe & vaulted cellar etc. & the old ladies bedroom with the secret radio under the floor, Ahh happy days ( theres another good series to ressurect)

Allo Allo was quite possibly one of the least funniest things ever shown on tellivision.

Only Last of the summer wine can beat it for lack of laughs.

Seriously, i'm not saying to be argumentative, i used to dread it coming on as my mum used to watch it every saturday, funnily enough i dont remember her EVER laughing at it.

Dad's Army on the other hand, superb, "just the one Mrs Wembley" "They didnt like it up em them fuzzy wuzzies" etc etc etc.
