Any Amazon Fire 4K TV users out there using Plex on it?

Is it OK?

I seem to get mixed reports as regards how good its support for audio is? ie: Can Plex just feed it DTS (etc) and the Amazon fire will just push that straight out to the amp OK? ie: No transcoding required?

And Plex's photo browser? Friendly on the Amazon Fire? Does it output at 4K on a 4K TV?

Cool... And you recon no transcoding required?

And more exotic formats like DTSX?

And if you have a 4K TV... Photo viewing? Is that in 4K?

Well, got one last night and tried Plex out. I flicked through a mixture of media, including some older/simpler formats.

I think I had about 3-4 Plex freezes and errors reported, meaning I had to pull the power chord out of the Amazon box. Hmmm... So the jury is out for the moment...

I'd also say it's annoying in that you can't simply turn it off. I think an HDMI coms turns it back on. eg: Tell it to sleep, flick the amp source to another device, and flick it back, and the Amazon device is on! ie: I think the act of looking back at the Amazon box turns it back on again!

Supposedly after 30mins of no activity it sleeps again, but with no indicator (led), and not being able to look at it via HDMI (without that turning it back on) that's impossible to verify!?
