Hello all. I run a website called www.snappygamer.com and I was wondering if any of you chaps are interested in contributing? Ideally I'm looking for someone who can write and knows a lot about games :p

:confused:Suprised you haven't had any replies as I know there are a fair few on here who keep their own gaming bloggs etc. Thought they might have been interested
 
I'm happy to help, trying to get back into gaming writing. Had an interview with PC Zone a couple of years ago.

Excuse me? The whole reason I started this site is because after five years of writing for other places, I was sick of this sort of thing. There'll be no PR companies buying review scores from my site thank you very much. Read my about page.

I'm actually quite offended by what you've just said. I'm running this out of my own pocket. I don't make any money from ads and the only ads I have on there are supplied by Google and therefore can't possibly influence any review scores. My site has been going for a month, how the hell can you accuse me of corruption? Have you even read any of it?

I *think* he might have been talking about games journalism in general, rather than your site?

lol, psycho. I'm waiting on a mail too - have written for a couple of places and run my own gaming site in the past (Twistedgames)

I do hope so! Also, I definitely agree if that's the case. That's the reason I've started this site.

And to the guys who've emailed/posted in here - I will get back to you! Just busy at work ATM. :)
 
I might be interested, been gaming since about '83, so I have a good background of knowledge. I can't guarantee that will transpose well into articles, but I'm happy to give it a go if you are :)
