Any better alternatives?

Building myself a new computer just looking for some extras.

Got these in my basket

Are there any better and cheaper alternatives. Need the psu to have at least 7 sata power connectors and power x2 780's.

Would anyone suggest going for a ax corsair? What are the benefits?

I'd stick with the superflower. They are awesome units.

They are not an 'up and coming make', they've been around years.

The leadex is an absolute best of a PSU, would easily power your 2 x 780's if not 3.

I've heard some bad things about the Ax's.

Thanks for that. Can anyone reccommend a fan controller as the one I have chosen is out of stock at the minute

See a pic of an AX yesterday on here with a connector burnt out you really cant go wrong with that Leadex 1000w PSU, 8Pack uses Superflower for this new word record stuff, so im pretty sure they are among the best money can buy right now

What happened to the cheaper alternatives ? Platinum over gold isn't worth the extra price hike imo.

Yeah i saw that too I would still put Seasonic up there with Superflower and Enermax though, and not forgetting Delta who make some of the Antec units.

I saw someone say that the only difference between Gold and Platinum is about £2-£3 of electricity per year depending on your tarriff or such.
