any bigcommerce users?

My mate has a pro shop and got someone to do him a online shop www.24-7discountgolf.com, he has said that the hit rate on the shop has been going down and down. Its also not doing to well on google.
I have had a quick look on the page source and on the home page there seems to be no keywords or descriptions. in the product pages there are a few but not that many.

Having not done this site or used the bigcommerce software before I dont know how easy it is to add keywords and how to make it more SEO friendly.

I don't use the hosted version but our company stores are built on the Interspire SC, which should be pretty similar.

There should be meta fields for each page/category/product etc that you can fill out, usually under advanced section/tabs. I assume you can also modify the templates even on the hosted version to ensure that it has all of the SEO markup you need.

Apart from that, it'll be up to him to drive traffic.
