I decided to invest in a new case seeing as I'm unhappy with my Cooler Master Elite 371 and I'm pretty settled on the BitFenix Shinobi ATX mid-tower. Are there any owners of this particular case around who could give me an honest opinion on it in regards to space, cable management etc. Thank you.

I'm a former owner if that's ok? :)

+ Lovely looking on the outside and the soft touch front and top panels are nice

+ Cable management is ok, but could do with a touch more room back there tbh

+ Customizable colour strips/front badge (sold separately)

- Airflow is poor due to a very restrictive front panel. This can lead to fairly high gpu temps if your card vents into the case even if you stuff it with fans.

- Non removable HDD bays which can also lead to messy cabling

- No grommets for cable management, which can make it look a little untidy if you care

- Future watercooling is a no-no unless you're up for serious modding

i have the shinobi XL, which is very similar, but i have actually built into the ATX version

similar pros and cons as petey (im seeing a pattern here man, seems we buy similar stuff a lot)

an issue i had with them were the thumb screws and the mobo standoffs, they didnt really "catch" properly without giving them quite a bit of force, that might have just been the one i was building though!

for water cooling i managed to bang 2 240mm rads in it, but it did mean i had to take out the HDD bays, so meant there werent many options for them. and it did look a little cramped for my style.

however, for the price they are great cases, and quite customizable too! worth the money imo!

*edit*

i didnt really have any problems with the cables tbh, there was *just* enough room behind the tray to do what i wanted with it, whilst keeping the inside looking clean and tidy :/ il see if i can find the pics of what i did :D

Haha, maybe it means I'm doing something right :)

Found a couple of pics of previous builds in there actually:

For me, the main issue is the front fan restriction and the HDD bays. Other than that, it's not a bad case at all for the money and it could be made tidier than I did.

BitFenix Ghost vs Corsair Carbide 330R. Any thoughts?

They're both nice :) The 330R doesn't seem to have grommets, which isn't an issue, they're just nice to have.
I think I prefer the 330R of the two, though you can't go wrong either way.

Sorry to throw all these at you, but have a butchers and see if there's anything you fancy.

No need to apologise mate :) after looking through pretty much every case that OCUK has to offer, I'm pretty sure I'm settled on the BitFenix Ghost. Cheers for all your help guys
