I'm trying to find some websites which have a cool or interesting stories about people collaborating over the internet to either produce something meaningless and retarded, such as http://www.zefrank.com/sandwich/ . Or to help others out etc such as

http://www.ted.com/talks/tim_berners_lee_the_year_open_data_went_worldwide.html at the 3:30 mark ( though the talk is rather interesting )

Any one know of any ?

I have just noticed how terrible google maps is for scale thanks to that, since when has the UK been almost as big as France!

The UK is longer than France is tall, however france is considerably wider than the UK's widest point and most of the UK is much narrower than that.
It isn't particularly out that I can see

The first video on that site is pretty darned funny. Personally i wouldn't have used a baguette though. Don't really class it as a proper sandwich!

Thats pretty cool. Any one know others where people combine to complete a task or aid each other instead of just meeting at a location. Just for general interest i found this, might try my hand at hired killing
