I mean amd is bursting with colours and have better looking shadows compared to nvidia.

Everyone say's they have the exact same image quality but you can certainly see the difference in these screen shots.

The only thing that worries me about AMD is the amount of debt there in wouldn't want them to fold . debating whether to go maxwell or wait on AMDs next line up.

Strangely enough I have Asus Titans and 290Xs exactly the same as in the link.

BF4 is better on the Titans lol.

I for one cannot play fps games with v sync on. to me theres noticeable lag

Indeed - changing the gamma by hand with the 2 images produces pretty much identical results.

Looking at stills means nothing, the game could be stuttery as hell and you would not know.

Its something I've always noticed though (not to the degree in the screenshots) with an AMD GPU side by side with nVidia on identical monitors - the AMD one will have very slightly more vibrant colours at a slight loss of detail in some areas and nVidia looks more drab but without the slight loss of detail a good one to see it is dishonoured in areas with lots of barrels - on AMD the apparent saturation on the barrel colours is a tiny bit deeper with a barrel that looks brownish possibly red on nVidia having a slightly deeper red look on AMD but things like the wood grain can be a little less defined on the AMD card - it is very very subtle however.
