Any chance of corsair/mushkin power supplies in the uk?

The corsair 620w modular in particular looks very good, but doesn't seem to be avaliable in the uk. How likely is it that these will be brought over (plus pcp+c)?

I had another look, and still can't find any of these in the uk. Yewen, since you've evidently found them, can you post the models avaliable and their prices,so at least I can discount them from my search.

From around £90 for the 470 one up to the £350 region. Silent one aswell.

The need for such a power supply is not really there, unless under some very special circumstances.

It always amazes me that people read the 280W at the wall power draw of FX-60 + 7950GX2 systems, and then go on to believe nV when they tell them they need a 700W PSU to run Quad-SLi, or ATI when they get old they'll need the same thing for CF, when a good 550W PSU will be more than enough.

Ive ran an awful lot of a 400w PSU, an old one at that.

Been told on these forums that it would not do for my rig by several people, but its fine.

600w PSUs are very very rarely needed, seeing them in anything bar a 10 HDD SLI rig is a waste.

However, the higher W PSUs when running at lower loads generally are more efficent, so you do make a saving but the 'need' is not there for them.

I wouldnt think of having a 620W if it wasnt for the 10A inrush / 3.5A running current @ 24v on my Iwaki... yes, thats 20A inrush once its gone past the DC-DC converter =p
