I wouldn't bother with the PM951 SSD. For gaming the 750/850 EVO is fine.

Swap the Founders Edition for something like the Gigabyte G1.

Also make sure Windows 10 is the USB version as the P400 doesn't have an optical bay for a dvd drive. You could go with an external dvd as another option.

You might have to ask customer services to change them if any of the options are not listed in the configurator.

Thanks. yeah I will phone and not order it off the site but it will be from here. Ordered my last 2 pc from another site which is well known but both been rubbish.

I was going to change the graphics card to Palit Jetstream 1070 which is out of stock but I phone to order then they might order it for me. I will be at some point buying a external bluray drive but for now I can hold off even if the windows 10 is on DVD as its already installed. If I have to format it in first year then there be something wrong with it. :P

Definitely buying this PC in next week. I still don't no if I should go with the 1080 or 1070 just incase. Like I said I don't want to hold back on anything on this machine just to save an extra couple of quid like I done in past.

OCUK Gerforce GTX 1070 Founders edition 8GB
OCUK Gerforce GTX 1080 Founders edition 8GB This one is already in stock

total cost £1500 with a 1080 The graphic card will fit in the case wont it lol.

The Gigabyte G1 is in stock and would be a much better option than the founders edition.

What monitor are you going to be gaming on ?

Bit hard to say if there would be any changes without budget or use case. But in general i would agree with Lee32uk and go for a well cooled 1070.

Several good options for 1070 at a great price. For the pre built system you will need to phone up and request a GPU that isn't listed in the configurator. They should be happy to do it no problem though.

If you want to be a total baller get the 1080. I think you'll be disappointed with the amount you spend for the performance you get over a 1070 though.

I have and using at the moment my TV which is a sony bravia 32" kdl32EX703. But I do have a Asus vg27he monitor at 144hz. Only problem with that is the colours not right no matter what setting I use and too pixelated So that why I gone back to my 32" TV as a lot better then my monitor.

I will be at some point early next year buying a new monitor either 1440p or 4k but if I go with a 1070 I will be getting a 1440p.

Hi whats the KFA2 Geforce GTX 1080 like?. Like I say I don't mind paying price or even I don't use all the power of the card at first as long as its good.

I no my last 2 PC o have had I had to fit the card it self my self from new. Is it the same here. If so is it easy to fir in the case on this PC. I no my Asus strix 970gtx was really long and could just fit in due to hard drive case.

Not sure how you think the 1080 monitor is more pixelated than your TV. They are the same resolution so the TV will certainly have large pixels. The colors will be less saturated as its a TN panel and Sony bravia are known for over saturation.

Are you thinking this one?

It should be fine. There isn't much between them really. Mostly aesthetics, noise, software features so if you are happy with that stuff then all fine.

yup that's the one.

I think you'll be happy with that as it is. OCUK will have tested the cooler to be more than enough so i wouldn't worry about it. Its also black so should look pretty sweet.

Remember If you think i've been helpful please click the link in my sig before your purchase as i get a small kickback. If you don't then no worries, up to you.

EVGA FTW is the same price as the KFA2.

The PM 951 isn't worth it if you are just gaming. If you wanted an M.2 SSD then a 950 PRO is much better. A regular 750 EVO would do fine though unless you are building a workstation pc.

I personally prefer the WD Blue over the Seagate for a 1TB HDD. Seagate are still fine though so either is good.

The Alpenfohn cooler is fine.

It is overkill but its only £20 difference so personally i would still stick with the pm51 and its part of the standard offering.

Everybody has their preference on HDD, Again the seagate is part of the ocuk offering so worth sticking with what they provide imo.

EVGA are generally argued to be better quality so probably worth it at the same price. Performance will be basically the same though.

So your saying that the SSD is too good just for gaming?.

It won't really make a noticeable difference in load times unless you are running heavily modded games which you might see a slight difference. The boot times will also be more or less the same as a SATA SSD.

There are much faster NVMe M.2 SSD's such as the 950 Pro and SM951/961 etc but the same applies. These are also more expensive than the PM951.

Is there any problems with skylark CPU. I didn't no at the time but I no now that a lot of Ivy bridge had a couple of problems with it after I got it. It like you say 3rd gen to 6th gen not a big leap but I cant see waiting one more gen will gain that much compared to price.
