Any cheaper monitors that look similar to an iMac?

I know you can purchase the 5K LG but that is quite expensive. I'm wondering if there is anything cheaper that will give me a very similiar look or wondering if its a no-go and just a case of purchasing an iMac/Macbook Pro to get that kind of quality.

I'm talking medium-high end pricing.

Will a 27" at 4K with scaling yield similiar quality? Or would it be better to stick to 2560x1440 for a 27" to avoid requiring Windows to scale...?

I'm all ears...

LG make the most Mac-alike monitors. The 27UD69P-W, 27UK600, and 27UD59-W are all 4K IPS and can be had for sub £400.

My 1440p Samsung S27B970D is very iMac; glass front and aluminium bezel. But that is a discontinued model now. I'm upgrading to 4K very soon.

My concern is the scaling with windows using a 27’’ At 4K (e.g. Mac 5k scales down but I’ve read Mac scaling is perfect).

Window 10 is better at scaling but some third party apps don't do it so well. If there is a particular app you use a lot, I would check out how that handles scaling first.

im tempted by the acer 4k at the e competitor for £199. not sure if its any good for you. 60hz refresh rate. seems a good deal for a 28" 4k.

If you find something at 32" let me know, especially with glass cover.
