Was going to wait for a 1GB 4870, but I think they are a while away still? Will add another 4870 in crossfire in a year's time for an easy upgrade. Comments / suggestions please

You might want to change the 750GB F1 to a 640GB or 1TB, I heard they are both faster due to larger platters. Also getting a P182 seperate and a Corsair 620w would save you £20 and would easily be sufficient in terms of power for that system. That sufficient in fact, you could even reduce down to the 520W Corsair HX and still be fine and save even more money.

Rest of the system looks fine to me

nope don't think it will, iirc it only has 2 pci-e connectors, for 2x4870 you'll need 4, something like the Thermaltake ToughPower 850W should do.
