I love the game, but not the handling. It feels as if the center of the car is on a pivot. Is there any good config tweaks that make it more like GTR2 or a proper sim?

I have NFS in Steam. It says about the mod that it can be applied on "unpacked only". I'm assuming that for a Steam install, that's unpacked (already fully installed). I'm not 100% sure what they mean by "unpacked" here.http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=208349 might be of intrest![]()
Thanks. When you unpack it, I guess that means that it's then independent of Steam (you could even uninstall Steam). It becomes stand alone? How to unpack NFS Shift:

Thanks for tips, will give it a goIn answer your questions, no, there isn't any config files, but there are some settings you can change to make it more realistic, the link is:

Steering Dead Zone-15%
Accel Dead Zone-10%
Brake Dead Zone-10%
Steering sensitivity-5%
Acell Sensitivity -5%
Brake sensitivity-5%
Speed steering Sensitivity 100%
These are the settings I used and they definately give the car a sim feeling, even in a mental gallardo![]()
