Not sure if this is even in the right forum but here goes.
I'm setting up a VPS running Centos and WHM/Cpanel and want to run my own nameservers so I have 2 extra IP addresses, I've added glue records (ns1.hostname.whatever and ns2.hostname.whatever) with my registrar.
Cpanel already comes installed but not completely configured, would I be right in assuming that when I got through the basic initial setup in WHM I slap in the 2 nameservers I've created the glue records for and then create an A record for them too?
Currently WHM seems to be assigning the wrong IP addresses when I click "Assign IP address", could this be due to the glue records not being propagated? Not sure if it does a look up at the registrar for them or not.
Once that's sorted, would there be any issue assigning the domain used to a normal hosting account or should I keep it seperate?
Thanks
