Any decent ADLS providers still exist?

Hello!

So I'm about to move into a flat in London that seems to be stuck in the 90's and doesn't have *any* fibre broadband available. Judging by Samknows webby there's the choice of BT and then Sky and TalkTalk via the LLU. Something in the back of my mind is immediately telling me to steer clear of TalkTalk, so looking at Sky or BT, does one trump the other?

Or does any choice even matter due to the nature of ADSL these days?

Also for the future it seems that only Hyperoptic is on the verge of getting fibre in the block of flats, any thoughts on them? Only thing I've breifly read is that 1GB is possible but their Wifi is ****e.

I checked a couple of lines supposedly in your block and the BTW checker comes back up to 16mbps on ADSL2.. No FTTC though.

Checking with your post code, the area does have FTTC, but the cabinet serving which I assume is where the flats are doesn't, with no signs of it being fully planned yet.

You're about 1km away from the exchange so with ADSL speeds I expect it to be around 15mb give or take.

For ADSL I would go with either BT or Plusnet. Plusnet uses BT's equipment but they're owned by BT as well, so their ADSL service is just as good. Had no issues with them at all in East London.
