3D mostly but probably does 2D well too. I've used Progecad in the past and it was fine though so gazjams on the ball there. Having AutoCAD support even if it's the older versions is very handy too.
Thanks all, I will have a look at the suggestions and see which are suitable.
I know we can't use the Progecad one though as the free version is not for commercial use.
If you only need to use it for a short period, just get the 30 trial of AutoCAD (or AutoCAD LT) both are the fully working, not limitations (not even a watermark on Plotting) for 30 days from first use!
