I ordered myself an NVIDIA 580 evga on the 17th Dec from a different site due to price differece. It was 389. They still have no stock just like everywhere else with the evgas. My question is, if I cancel that order and get one of the in stock 580s from overclockers. The ocuk version probably, would there be any significant difference, other than the lesser warranty. I know its 40 pound more expensive on ocuk and its not even the same card I originally ordered. But its killing me waiting , Haha. So I'm I right in thinking the cards are the same with different stickers on?

They're all the same.

My palit 580 run fine, no problem at all.

If you plan to overclock, then I would recommend a evga or asus. I think they supprt higher voltage.

My palit only go up 1.138v.

.

i may just add that my evga 580 was a terrible overclocker, so dont think just because its an evga its going to clock well,
if you go on evga forum you will see a lot of evga 580's can only reach upto 850 core, which is ok, but not amazing compared to others

Thanks guys, I'm gonna give it 1 more week and hopefully ill get my evga one. If not I may have to pay the extra. The site I've ordered from has ha no stock on it for 3 weeks now so they are surely expecting some. I've asked but they just tell me it can take Upto 28 days to restock any item. Ahhhh lol
