Any disadvantage of mini cards?

Hi all,

I've been out of the loop for so long things have moved on so apologies if this is a simple question.
I noticed a lot of cards now come in both full size and mini versions and have the same model number (and from what I can see, spec) - are there any differences apart from the size?

The big one is noise: you have one fan doing the work of two or more.

Noise/heat, possibly lower clock speeds due to heat.

I bought a small geforce rtx 3060 recently, and i can confirm it is noisy.
