Any Dishwasher Engineers on here?

Not a dishwasher weeb but I've had mine apart in various ways. Can you expand on exactly what you mean when you say absolutely no signs of life at all? I presume you've diagnosed power delivery aka socket, the cable, both ends and fuse.

Does the on/off switch feel like it’s functioning properly? That would be my first consideration for trouble shooting.

Also, have you tried the age old turn off, wait a couple of minutes, then turn on again? Perhaps even unplug for a minute if that’s possible

Yeah, had it in bits now. There's a main board inside a looms goes upto the control panel in the door. There's 13v at the switch...the switch works but nothing comes alive. The borad looks fine, power getting into the big capacitor. That charges upto 350v.

It needs somebody that knows unfortunately.

Sounding like it. Could be a whole range of things on the PCB

Check the wiring loom to the switches. Sometimes opening and closing the door over time can cause breaks in the wires.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Had “a man” round today to attempt a fix. I went through it all with him. Every wire checks out, no sign of damage anywhere, the 2 boards all look fine.

New dishwasher arriving on Tuesday.

Happy Christmas wife. Sigh.
