Any else having issues with z97 Hero?

3 of my drives are not showing and 3 are.
I have cleared the CMOS, installed the latest BIOS
I tried using one of the Sata cables that can with the board to no avail.

Tomorrow I will pull everything apart.

Any tips! Thanks.

what make/model hdd's?

try enabling hot swap for each of the ports in bios,that sometimes works

WD 4 of them and 1 sammy

have you got anything in the M.2 slot or the lowest PCIex16 slot

Nothing in those two but my SB card is in the send from the bottom.

just for clarity are you drive all in the Intel ports or are some in the Asmedia ones? also do they show up in the Asmedia one and if not is the Asmedia controller enables in the BIOS.

I see all eight in the Bios

ok so what SATA sockets are the working drives in? ASUS list them like SATA_1 etc

Thanks guys. I know what my issue is.
Some how that have turned into dynamic (missing) is that a correct term?
Hold on they are all dynamic I seem to rember them blue rather thay olive!

I deleted the volume as a guide said the recover it. Guess what! didn't work. Have I kill my drive
