Hey all,

At work I use a simple excel jobbie for me timesheets, which has a few macros (I think) which I use to automatically put in the correct job numbers etc.

What I want to do is alter some of the numbers and values etc to suit me rather than the generic one we have at work.

Im quite happy to alter it all, but I dont know where or how:confused:

I have the excel file here, and can mail it to anyone, if they could just tell me how to get into and edit the job names and numbers.

In the pic below you see what I want to edit, the 'Faults - Underground - Restoration - LV Consac' text, and then the job number it auto inserts for me.

Any help appreciated:)

Hi mingeroonie,

I know a little about excel, but not so much regarding macros, but it should be under tools/macros then something along the lines of edit macros's? you may find the info require changing is in hidden cells which you may not be able to edit if the excel sheet is protected with a password, look for the unprotect option int he menu items, may also be in tools! my knowledge on excel is quite limited, but it may point you in the right direction, hope it helps,

Mole :p

Cheers for the replies:)

I can edit the title and job number it inserts (UG Fault....3452 2904)
But how do I edit the titles in the toolbar and drop down menus?
Faults, maintenance, trees, repairs etc etc
I can't seem to find any reference to these in the macro/visual basic editing options?

I have put the file Here if anyone knows where to look.
Thanks all

This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features.

Seems like your normal.dot or another linked file has a VBA project in it which has the Forms/Code in for the menu section.
