I'm looking to build my first big build in around a month or so, so I've been researching around to see what I can get for my budget

Looking at the clearance section of the sight, I can save a considerable amount of money by getting by graphics card and hard drives from there.

I'll be making a build thread closer to the time, but for now I'd like to find out what you all think about the clearance lines. As my title said, do any of you have experience there?

had a motheboard about 18 months ago and still using it today saved about 80 quid ...had no cables cd or backplate ..but for 57 quid it was a bargain

Gdgd, I've had experiences with bad suppliers in the past so just wanted to make sure that the clearance stuff wasn't just duff parts

The stuff is usually either customer returns or end of line. If i was buying from the clearance section i would want to know exactly what i was getting, ie is it just the bare motherboard or the full package etc? We were promised that this would happen some time ago but it never happened which is a shame as some of the other online retailers list what you will get. Warranty is only a measly 30 days as well.

Looking at the graphics cards in there they are all overpriced in my opinion. Some things i would'nt touch from clearance lines such as hard drives, memory and psu's.
