Any Experience With LG's Repair Centre?

Hey All,

I stupidly let my phone (LG Optimus 7) drop out of my bag yesterday, and the Gorilla Glass of the touch screen is pretty badly cracked. I've been in touch with LG support who are going to sort me out with a repair. Does anyone have any experience of their process?

I'm also not sure how price competitive they are, as they will only quote a price for the repair once they have the phone, which is fair enough. However, they charge £23.50 in any case I don't want the repair made. I've been quoted £55 locally to get it done.

Any ideas of what's the best route to go down?

Thanks!

The repair house is probably a company that repairs Samsung, HTC and other brands. They will likely replace the outer shell as the glass is bonded to the screen/digitiser (the touchy bit) and transplant the internals. Sometimes they will just send refurbished handsets but it's unlikely in this case as you have no internal damage.
