Hi Folks,
I'm about to start working on my first (non-tutorial) android app, and I'm hoping to bounce some ideas & best practices off someone with a little more knowledge of the framework, Java and OOP.
I'm not overly experienced with Java (being self taught, to a basic level), and I've run through Sam's teach yourself Android development, but there's a number of things that the book doesn't show that I'd like to do, without the faintest idea of where to look. Being new to OOP doesn't really give me the upper hand
The class and method references on developer.android.com are pretty poor IMO for actually giving usable examples (when compared to say, the PHP reference).
Would anyone be able to step up, listen to my ideas, and offer any advice when I'm stuck?
Thanks in advance!
