Brought this off the Bay the other day, left it tonight to do the downloading and updates.. anyone else got this? I've always liked the look of FF Games.. and i cant wait to play this one tomorrow, any other players on here want to share their experiences? is it a good game? is it a Carp Game? Laggy?

I also like the idea of interacting with players on other platforms, an idea that I dont think i have ever seen done before..

I'm a longtime MASSIVE Final Fantasy fan, yet FFXI has never appealed to me in anyway. In my collection of over 30 Final Fantasy Games, I don't even own a version of it :/

I might pick up the US PS2 version and a hard drive when I've got some spare cash lying about.

It *is* however still meant to be massively popular, and a very good MMORPG on the whole.

I used to play it on the PC, and it was also my first introduction to MMO's

If you don't like MMO's you probably wont like this. It is a total grind. I plaed with folk who loved it and played it hours and hours a day, but you do need to do a lot of grinding in it, as you do in a lot of Asian MMO's

When can we expect pics of your collection? :D It sounds quite impressive (in a geeky sort of way of course).

i'm currently awaiting delivery of 6 titles from Hong Kong ;)

THEN, I will post pictures :D

I used to play it too. It was fun to begin with but looking back, it was just a huge grind. I took a peek into the game recently and the population was way down from what it used to be. From what I could see there aren't many newer players joining the game and a bunch of hardcore players doing end game stuff. Since its an MMO, the story is all over the place and as it takes so long to progress you just stop caring about it. I'm sticking to the 'proper' FF games these days.. having said that, FFXII was a nice surprise with the battle system being an offline version of FFXI with automated party members but a progressive story that you can make sense of like regular FF games.
