Any free antiviruses for commercial use ?

Just a couple of laptops for Sales, we have symantec endpoint for all the computers on our network. But the sales guys go all across the country and need to be on the server for updates :)

You need to go back to whoever controls the budget and ask them if they really value their IT security at zero pounds.

(Not that MSE isn't good, it's just that for a business, your IT security should be taken a little more seriously.)

The budget is fine, whats the point of wasting money on salesmen that go around the UK with a few samples and powerpoint presentations haha. Bare in mind, they have no admin access, no network access, no access to sensitive or important files and the user policies and services are minimal to prevent issues.

Example off the top of my head:

If they can get a virus on a PC that has access to their contacts list, you've got a problem.

MSE is fine on 10 devices or less. MSE is just as good if not better as a lot of the paid versions out there.
