any free ghost/image software?

Hi guys looking at creating a image of my comp following a formatt and wondering if there are

a) any recommendations?
b) any free software that's up to the job?

If you have either a Seagate or Maxtor HDD installed, you could install DiscWizard or MaxBlast, which are the same and are basically Acronis True Image Home 11, or you could try DriveImage XML, Paragon Backup Drive Express 9 or O&O Disk Image 3, have a look in the Partition/HDD Backup/Management section for download links.

If you want to buy a bit of software, then I would go for Acronis True Image Home 12...

I've actually never had to restore with DriveImage XML, but it seems to me to be a nice peice of software

I shall give Paragon Backup Drive Express 9, seems that is the most userfriendly and offers very good facilities

Try PING and Paragon. I found these the best two.
