Any free programs to extract audio from a video and amplify?

ok so i converted it to .wav (from mp4)
selected the file from start to finished, amplified it, cant quite make out what they are saying, hear the first part, but not the rest :(

any ideas?

im not having much luck
done everything except the "band pass filter" on the raw footage, as i havent a clue how

Could i send you the .wav file for you to have a look please ? id appreciate it
