Any (free) software for changing HDD partitions on the fly?

I have a WD 180Gb HDD that I have partitioned into 20Gb and 160Gb. The 20Gb partition is for Windows and other software and the other is for mp3, pics, movies, etc.

Only problem is that I'm exceeding the 50% rule on the 20Gb partition and I wanted to move the partition to about the 40Gb range.

Any way of doing this without losing all my data?

You can't, afaik.

Best bet would be to backup, and re-partition...

Acronis Disk(something) and PartitionMagic will do this for a fee.

I think if you want free then you're dealing with Linux tools, and I'm not sure how well they handle NTFS.

Damn. Was hoping to be able to do this as backing up is a nightmare.

My larger partition has over 50Gb on it. Kinda expensive on the DVDR's....
