Any free steam stuff going??

I have just for the first time installed steam and on a rig I ahve newly built. And have, I shamefully admit, never played Half Life 2. I am eagerly awaiting Aliens Vs Predator 3. However, and this might seem a touch pykey, I was wondering if anyone had any free steam games going? Stuff which they may ahve duplicates of but never use etc?

*please keep any abuse to a minimum due to my sensitive nature

Cheers Wej! Very much obliged sir, if I ever have some free stuff going I will bear you in mind first! Or if I can assist any tech problems (with my v limited knowledge) etc, not available for home visits though.

Never played HL2, looking forward to it! Will it work fine on win 7 64 bit pro?
