I've come into some Amazon vouchers and I thought I might buy a new cookbook to inspire me. Had my eye on any of these but no idea if they are any good? Any recommendations? (Aware the below are mostly older!)

Ottolenghi Simple
Tom Kerridge's Best Ever Dishes
Chinese Unchopped (Jeremy Pang)
The Food Lab: Better Home Cooking Through Science
Wahaca - Mexican Food at Home

Or perhaps are there any good sous vide recipe books out there? Struggling to get the best use out of my Anova if I'm honest.

Bosh
Thug Kitchen

Both vegan bizarrely, tend to only eat meat at the weekends but the Southwestern soup from Thug is a winter mainstay in the house now.

Interesting. It all seems a bit "try hard" if I'm honest. Each to their own but I find vegan dishes to be very carb-heavy. I don't have anything against veganism (although it's only 4 days into Jan and I'm already bored of hearing about Veganuary). I'm very much a "everything in moderation" type of person.

Yes i agree a certain amount "look at me" but no denying some of it is very bloody tasty, but then again so is steak and chips so i eat that as well :)

I got Simple for Christmas. Decent book if you like Ottolenghi. It's basically his food, but paired down to the point where you might actually bother to make it during the week.

Also, Simple by Diana Henry, which might actually be even better  and Basque by Jose Pizarro, which seems pretty decent.
