Any good darts players here?

I have a board at home, practice when I can, normally a few times a week.

I am just struggling to get any better.

I'm conscious of my throw, conscious of my stance. Have tried different positions, different throws etc.

I'm not sure how to figure out why I can't improve.

When I throw the dart it feels like I can't aim it properly. I don't have a common reference point that I can stick to every time.

MVG just taught his opponent an absolute lesson on TV. He is almost unplayable.

On my own play, my grouping is actually ok most of the time, but instead of getting 3 darts in the 20s I'm getting 3 in the 5's or 3 in the 1's. Hence why I think the aiming point is my issue. My doubles play is ok, but i just can't score high.

But it's not like shooting a gun, there is no crosshairs to sight through. I can't find a reliable point of reference.
