Any good fighting games for PC?

For PC ? I'm straining to think of one, the nearest I can think of is Toribash.

edit - there was one with Max Payne and the lots of anime and video-game characters in, I'll have to ask my bro about it, as he downloaded it.

There was this mod for Max Payne 2, also.

If you don't mind importing PC titles from Japan then you should be able to find a fair few dojin beat em ups that are very enjoyable. "Big Bang Beat" by NRF should be your first port of call (check youtube for video's)

Alternatively if that is too much hassel you could just pick up "Guilty Gear X2 #Reload" which got a UK PC release by Zoo Digital Publishing. Also if you like 2d Scrolling fighting games along the lines of Street of Rage than you should try Team Seniles excellent homebrew "Beats of Rage" game.

suprised nobody has brought out a complation of all the oldies sure they make some good cash from it all street fighters all the art of fighting, samurai showdown neo geo titles mortal combat 2 and killer instinct .
 
Get your selfs some emulators and download some Roms.

I have the Spectrum one some were. Manic Miner lol. They were the days.

Thanks for all the links so far guys. Not had much time to go through them yet, but I am getting the impression all these are 2D, and not much new.

What about things like the Tekken games? Why don't we get em on PC?
 
i would only recommend a lot of EMULATORS such as MAME (this one is best for fighting games) or NEOGEO etc, so many excelent fighting games :)))))
 
The next Mortal Kombat is PC bound I believe and supporting online play :)

Is using the Unreal Engine 3 engine.
