Any good firewalls?

I was using zonealarm until suddenly during an update it crashed and now wont re-install. At the moment I am using windows firewall but would prefer to use a separate firewall from windows, as i am having connection problems which didn't happen with zonealarm.
Any help would be appreciated.

Outpost, Kerio and Look'N'Stop are probably the best, ZA is a mare if you ask me. The absolute best used to be Sygate but after the evil Symantec bought them out, that has fallen by the wayside.

Windows Firewall for incoming. Anti Virus for outgoing. Job done and (depending on which AV you choose) the least amount of system resources used.

Have to say I used ZA for a brief period, Sygate for ages (very good until take over as stated above) - currently use Kerio as it's one of the only ones that allows my Activesync connection thru when configured, very good.

Mines pretty similar.

NOD32 Antivirus and the firewall on my router.
