If you have HL2, download some mods - they'll keep you going for a while and are free (apart from latest version of Garrys mod I believe):

Insurgency is pretty awesome, although running around doesnt help much, lot more tactical i think gotta take your time when attacking and use prone

truecombatelite is quite good, its like CSS without the constant "hax0r hax0r alert" or "that guy is s00 *** haxiong" after one displays a moderate level of skiill.
