as first my preferred case has been the aspire x - cruiser(silver) - which i ahve realised can be bought for under £70 without PSU - i love the look of this case, has blue leds, side panel and controllers...what do you guys think - or should i pay the extra to combine the psu - are they any good...

its 420W enought for a pc which will contain all the top products inside?
 
Do a search on "Aspire X-QPack Power Supply". That should answer your question. It's also a 420W PSU. and, unfortunately, it's not very good. The failure rate is approaching 100%.

You're not going to get get much in the way of encouragement about buying an expensive case like the X-Cruise Silver here, because of;

1. Prejuduce
2. Common Sense
3. A general liking for the finer things in life
4. Previous experience of buying a piece of junk and then regretting it
 
WJA96 speaks the truth, If you want a GREAT cheap case then buy the 1650 Antec with 350w psu.

Some people would be horrified some of the systems that are running with that combo, but its a good solid case and PSU combo.

That case is such a basic one, about £20 tops, but £70 is silly money when you can have a PC7+ for that, or your getting into Akasa Eclipse territory, both of which are FAR superior cases, several hundered leagues above.

My first case was a £60 gaming case from the local pc shop in 2001, it looked ok for a 13 year old, but when I got into working in the innards, it cut me to shreds.

I went to Thermaltake and everything was better, everything.

Then I went to Coolermaster ATCS and realised how bad Tt were! Coke can to say the least.

Then I have gone to Lian Li which with the V series matches the old ATCS standards.

You live and learn, but there are to many people saying to avoid this case for it to be fanboyism, as we all disagree usually (WJA96 im talking to you :)) yet we seem to agree on this point!

Avoid it and spend your money on a Soprano even, will be MUCH better.
