I've been offered this, for £45 from a friend is it worth it and would it help my temps i have a really crappy case right now.

Dont buy it if your after a drop in temps,the wavemaster was never any use at cooling,crap airflow and 80mm fans..

yeah the whole reason for purchasing the case would be to lower temps.

For temps on air you can't really go wrong with one of the HAFs, if cooling is your primary concern.

Mate of mine just bought one and he over the moon with it. Temps dropped a fair bit as well.

Beaten to it I see, but the cases are great for cooling even if the looks are a "marmite" thing, you either like them or you don't. I myself find the 932 a little OTT, but the 922 looks pretty good in the flesh in my own opinion. I have one myself.

They aren't quiet cases as they're very open, but you can do a lot to keep the noise down with decent fans running at low rpm. Mine sounds whisper quiet when there is no backgroud noise and still does very well with temperatures.

However if the temperatures really concern you, you would be better getting the version with a 200mm fan on the sidepanel.
