Ok been designing my new office on sketchup it looks good altho when i rotate the camera edges and the whole thing seem very very smooth as soon as i release the camera roatation and let it go static it looks horrible, jaggies and bad shadows?

Anyone know why it's happening?

you need to change the drawing type, 1 sec let me look it up as it's been a few months

Yup, go to window --> Styles then select one that suits it better, "default" on the 3rd row is pretty good for this sort of thing which I use all the time.

Then you can edit it, taking out profiles/extensions etc :)

Spot on your a star mate

Also by putting them like that you're blocking the 360's vents which is less than ideal if you want to prevent a failure.

Depends on the type of curve you want, if you use the curve tool to create a line that you want the curved piece to take, make a solid flat object at one end of the curve, then with the "follow me" tool select the face from the solid shape and follow the line you've just drawn, your face shape will then extend all the way along the line.

Ah it's not floating just i haven't figured out how to make curved brackets on sketchup yet lol.

You could draw an "L" shape and then round off the corners with a a circle, delete the excess lines and then extrude or "push pull" it out.
