I'm just wondering how any HAF 912+ owners are finding the case? After much chopping and changing what case to buy, and somehow in the process completely missing most of the CM cases I think I'm finally settled on buying a HAF 912+, one the surface it appears to have everything I need, though I have a few questions...

My first and could be a decider, is how much clearance is between the rear side of the top mounted 200mm fan and the rear side of the case? As I will be fitting an H80 to the rear 120mm exhaust, the H80 rad stands proud by about 15-20mm of the connected fans so I'm worried the fan will clash with the 200mm fan, resulting in downsizing the top fan to a single 120mm, which IMO defy's the point of buying the case.

Secondly, what are the provided fans like? good air flow? I presume there CM megaflows (the 200mm ones).

If the fan clashes it looks like I'll be stumping up for the extra for a CM 690 II Advanced.

Hi
I just checked my 912
There's about 12mm between the rear 120 and the back of the top 200
The fans are pretty good
As a case the 912 has some great features but is not geared towards fitting the corsair h series of coolers
The 912 is a great little case but for your needs best look elsewhere
Go for the cm 690 II advanced the h80 will fit fine in that one
Hope this helps

Thanks for the input cook, your a legend :)

I think I'll pony up the extra for the 690 II Advanced then, anyone any idea if the 80mm fan slot on the left side pannel is worth fitting? not something I've ever seen on a case before.

My main reason for looking at the 912+ was down to the 200mm fans, high flow low noise, but I noticed the majority of fan holders on the 690 II are 140, which is fine too, looking to lower noise a shade, my gamma sounds like a washing machine when the system is under load :p
