I'm new here so first of all Hi everyone, I have just brought my new gaming system and whilst being a noob to computer hardware I'm curious to know a few bits of information. I have an Intel E6600 core 2 duo chip, I'm thinking of installing MS Vista 32 bit Home Premium and I was wondering if a 32 bit OS will use this chip as efficiently as a 64 bit OS? and if not how much diffrence is there?. Also I have 3GB of 667MHZ Kingston RAM and I was wondering how much RAM is the maximum MS Vista can use & efficiently?. My GPU is a Nvidia 8800GTX, will MS vista be able to use this GPU to it full extent or is MS Vista a bottleneck for this GPU in anyway?, I'm new to this scene and I was wondering when I had the confidence and knowledge could I overclock my 8800GTX GPU to 8800 Ultra specs and would the stock GPU cooler keep the GPU cool enough? and am I likey to half the life of the GPU overclocking it?, And on a last note I am posting my system specs below and wonder if any of you techheads can tell me if I have any hardware performance bottlenecks on my system, Sorry to sound such a noob, I am one, Please speak to me in layman terms because you'll only confuse me, Any help is REALLY appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.
