if you have some that sell for a lot that could change your mindI have tonnes of hot wheels cars many vintage some boxed plus modern ones from 10 years ago. They are all mixed in with Matchbox and Dinky cars I've been thinking about selling them on ebay but every time I open the boxes and look at them, I start having second thoughts.
id like to find a display like that but without the matchbox logosYou used to see these a lot in local hairdressers back in the early 90s.

I;ll hang on to them for a bit longer besides they are not really taking up much space and I'm not in need of cash right now. I might regret it later on.if you have some that sell for a lot that could change your mind
I sometimes restore broken ones or make custom cars out of them. I bought different colors of automotive spray paint and primer from the pound shop and clear coat spray drilled out the rivets to get them apart. They clean up pretty good with a bit of paint stripper and the plastic parts like the windshield etc you can rub down with some wire wool then use some plastic polish they look as good as new afterwards.had a big set as a child in the 80`s.
i used them hard so got broken or messed up.
probably have several that survived in my loft along with boxes full of other toys that i kept
