I'm running a project decommissioning NT4 servers and our 6 SNA gateways all run NT4 and hardware from the Ark including ESCON cards in ISA slots.

I've been assured (only semi-reliably) that we can't squirt Win 2k onto the boxes and 2k3 is out of the question.

I've got 3 off so far but my resource for moving the rest of the connections has disappeared onto another project and I must get rid of NT4.

Is the a modern off the shelf solution for SNA gateways? The mainframe is an H50 I think so possibly can't handle FICON but I'm no expert.

Oh, we've got money but no time left!!!!

what happened then? :D
I'm fairly sure you can route your SNA traffic over IP nowadays...might only be on later versions of z/OS though, and I'm not sure the Multiprise H50 supports it.
