So, have the following Thermostat(?) in the cupboard:

And then the following on each rad (Electric):

Have 2 radiators in the Lounge/Diner/Kitchen, one in hallway, one in each bedroom, and heated towel rail in two bathrooms.

Now, would it be more efficient to have the heating on low constantly, or to just have it come on for an hour in the morning before work and an hour or two in the evening after work? Whichever one, does anyone have any idea how to program them?

Only instructions i've found online for the model number seem to be for a stat that looks different.

Believe we've on Economy 7 so get cheaper energy between 12am-7am if that helps make a decision on the most efficient way to heat the flat.

Cheers :)

Did you even try to find out ?

Putting this into Google ' dimplex x2d pw4 ' gives pretty clear instructions.

Found some instructions but unsure whether the zones have been pre set and installation, or they can be chosen and reset?

Also, the question regarding the most efficient way to heat the flat still stands.

Buy lots of jumpers then.

My experience of electric storage hesters was nothing but pain, cost and suffering.

Other option is get oil filled radiators and plug in needed, bet it works out cheaper in the end

To be fair we're hardly here due to work and other bits and the block of flats itself is pretty hot, so just need to take the edge off when we're home.
