I was just about to post the answer and you beat me to it :) Been in the kitchen all night cooking/baking

Ur evil. I watched that being made and soooo want to have some now. But i cant. :( Best ive got is packed of noodles in cupboard.

Love watching the Japanese cook. There's something so precise and ritualistic about the way they do things. It's as if they are food Samurai.

Had okonomiyaki in a small 'street food' place in Hiroshima. It was really great. That sauce and the noodles was delicious. Nice and filling too goes well with a few cold Asahis.

Had a street cooked chicken chow fan when I was at Stanley Market in HK, possibly the nicest rice dish I have ever had.

Still makes my mouth water 18 years on.

ok next one for you guys to do, some sort of egg hotdog thing 3m26s

I think it is Kao leng mian. I did am image search from the english words which lead me to this pic:

Which had it in the tag and Timeout Beijing has a description on this page:

Kao leng mian 烤冷面

Kao leng mian, or grilled cold noodles, is a lowbrow delicacy from the northern province of Heilongjiang. More of a pan-fried tamale than a noodle dish in the conventional sense, a thin sheet of uncut wheaten noodles is fried with a beaten egg and topped with sautéed onions and a dry spice mix before being supplemented with a protein such as a mega-processed hotdog (don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!). Rolled up and sliced, kao leng mian has more texture and a greater depth of flavour than its closest relative, the jianbing. Price 5-10RMB per serving Time Midday to late
