Any idea what this guy has used?

Hi guys,

In the above picture, does anyone know what this guy has done with the section on the left, it's like a plastic sheet or something hiding the PSU cables? I can't seem to find any more information on it.

Looks to me like it's sound dampening on the door mate, something resembling foam.

They may well have made it themselves.

See if you can make one out of thick card then source some thin plastic or even metal and make one from the card template.

Using card to make a temp would let you make mistakes at low cost before getting it perfect.

Make a project out of it and take pics of your progress.

I can tell you exactly what that is . . . It's a sheet of Black Textured ABS Plastic. Try searching on a very well know 'auction site' for "Black Pinseal ABS Plastic Sheet" that should bring up a single item that gives you an idea of what it looks like close up. Then just search for "Textured ABS Plastic" for a whole host of items for sale.
